No.: AB-PN530) Scientific Background: PLCG1 mediates the production of the second messenger molecules diacylglycerol (DAG) and 1D-myo-inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) from the hydrolysis of 1-phosphatidyl-1D-myo-inositol 4,5-bisphosphate. It becomes activated in response to ligand-mediated activation of receptor-type receptor-tyrosine kinases, such as PDGFRA, PDGFRB, FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4.
